THE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT

"THE MOMENT I MET YOU, I KNEW YOU WOULD BECOME A DEAR FRIEND AND A GREAT ASSET".

The Good and Faithful Servant is a short satire that I wrote during the global financial crisis, and borrows it's title from a Joe Orton play of the same name.

After going through a series of script iterations (one version set in a futuristic dystopian road side diner) I finally settled on transposing the timeless tale of power, loyalty, and violence onto post-WW2 rural Australia.
