OCEANS OF LEMONADE
(AND OTHER NECESSARY NOWHERES)
"IN DREAMS YOUR MINE, ALL OF THE TIME..."
Oceans of Lemonade is a 45 minute 'documentary-fiction' that explores the rich history of social dreaming and speculative fiction, whilst celebrating the 500th anniversary of the publication of Thomas More's Utopia. The film is a collaboration between myself and Dr Rhys Williams, Lecturer in contemporary literature at Exeter University.
The film mixes dramatised scenes, animation and archive footage to re-imagine the lives of radical thinkers across the ages and visualises the Utopian worlds they imagined and designed.
In September 2016 I wrote, directed and produced the teaser trailer for 'Oceans' - which features Thomas More, Charles Fourier, Lady Charlotte Guest and Roy Orbison. The teaser trailer will be launching in December.
